2018 Raconteur Wine Co. - Cabernet Sauvignon
Spice and fruit vie for the leading role with black & white pepper adding a high note to vibrant red raspberry, blueberry and Bing cherry. In the background, smoked & cured meats, herbs de Provence & violets add to the bright upfront fruit.

Columbia Valley
89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah
Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel. Primarily age in neutral barrique, and 10% new oak for the Syrah. Black and red cherry envelop dusty black currant and a hint of wood spice. Syrah’s smoky spiciness fills the mid-palate with supple texture and acts as the bass behind the Cabernet’s leading role. The finish is long with the hallmarks of Washington’s bright acidity.
